Nevada Crime Statistics

According to Recently Released Statistics By The Federal Bureau Of Investigation (FBI), Nevada Experienced 20,118 Violent Crimes In 2016.

  • In 2016, There Were 222 Murders And No negligent Manslaughters.
  • In 2016 There Were 1,725 Rapes.
  • In 2016 There Were 6,343 Robberies.
  • In 2016 There Were 11,511 Aggravated Assaults.

 

Reports also indicate that the following crimes happen at the rates listed below in Nevada:

Violent Crime: 1 every 26 minutes 32 seconds

Murder: 1 every 1 day 15 hours 27 minutes 34 seconds

Rape: 1 every 5 hours 4 minutes 41 seconds

Aggravated Assaulted: 1 every 45 minutes 39 seconds.

 

None of us ever want to be a victim of crime. But if we should ever become one, we believe that everyone should have strong enforceable constitutional rights in Nevada. It is the right thing to do.
